05/2018 - Privacy Policy. Due to the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) law of the European Union we would like to encourage you to read our Privacy Policy.

On Mai 25th the new GDPR regulation was put into effect. All aspects of communication and data processing are affected. As a result, we had to examine all data collecting and processing operations to ensure to act in compliance with all relevant laws. Finally, we removed all recipients of the newsletter, which have not given their express consent yet. So please register again, if you would like to receive our newsletter. Google Analytics is removed for a certain time until we checked out other tracking tools and how to use them in compliance with the new GDPR law. For marketing purpose I assume, modern web pages are in the need of statistical data to get in contact with relevant target groups.

Furthermore there were some modifications done to our website I would like to introduce to you. Instead the former "Market Research" area we created and implemented a new www.build-your-vision.eu-Blog called "BLOG-BYV". The "Market Research" area was barley noticed and appeared substantively apart from the image database. The BYV-blog will focus on topics between picture processing and articles related to steel production, some animations and info graphics. We are excited to have this playground for experimental ideas as well. There are new and exciting technical features coming up that we would like to present here.

The alterations done to our online presence took some time, so we are still uncertain about a free image for June. I'm sure there will be one a little bit later this month.

Concerning the metal product marketplace we decided to do a lot of reconstruction work. This is a independant project from the image database and should have its own domain instead of being a subdomain of build-your-vision.eu. The usability and the user-friendliness have to become a much higher priority.

 For both websites we plan to create mailings and flyers. A very good reason to visit some local events to distribute our flyers...
