The following tables show what is called hot-rolled open sections, such as I, H or L sections mainly used in the construction industry. The list is organized by country. The hot-rolling process allows to produce shapes in large sizes as they are used for primary structural steel components. Other important fields are the making of rail tracks, crane tracks, guard rails and of course many different types of steel pile walls, which will be added later.
